Poem (Bit by Bit)

Bit by bit the splintered day has ended, (parts, to split)

The night is all in shreds. (a very small amount of something)

To each of us is given just as much

As we can carry. 

 

The spattering, singing drops of rain (Shower)

Hold poison and immorality too. (Evil, Impurity)

My eyes laugh, my heart Rains tears, (To fall)

 Such is the monsoon I’ve been granted. (The season when it rains)

 

Whenever I’ve strained to know myself (Not friendly, uneasy)

I’ve heard a chuckle, (to laugh quietly)

As if someone within me spoke and said,

In this game you’ll be foiled again. (Defeat)

 

 What does defeat mean, or waiting,

When an endless trek is my allotted fate? (a long walk)

When my heart was gifted to me, as companion, (a person with whom you spend a lot of time)

An unrest walked alongside.(together with somebody)

Summary

Bit by bit the whole day has ended into splitting a small intervals and the night all in rest, each one of us is given just as much as we can carry it with our capacity how much we can have it, one can have more and one can have less. Any have we spent the day and night in our life with happy or sad, in a busy schedule. The spattering and singing rain drops gave me lot of feelings like happiness, cheerfulness and more the rain drops also holds poison and impurity too  it is meant to us what we want, my eyes are laughing and heart is crying this is the season I got it.

Whenever I felt uneasy and strain to know myself who I am I heard laughter as if someone speaks with me and said you have defeated once again in this game.

What does defeat mean or waiting in my life, when I had a long walk in my future, my hart has given me lovely gift as companion a person with whom I spent a lot of time, and I had walked together with somebody in my life.

धीरे-धीरे बिखरा हुआ दिन ख़त्म हो गया,

रात पूरी तरह कट चुकी है.

हममें से प्रत्येक को उतना ही दिया गया है

जैसे हम ले जा सकते हैं.

 

बारिश की छिटकती, गाती बूँदें

जहर भी पकड़ो और अनैतिकता भी.

मेरी आँखें हँसती हैं, मेरा दिल आँसू बरसाता है,

मुझे ऐसा ही मानसून मिला है।

 

जब भी मैंने खुद को जानने के लिए दबाव डाला है

मैंने एक हंसी सुनी है,

मानो मेरे भीतर से कोई बोला और बोला,

इस गेम में आपको फिर से विफल कर दिया जाएगा।

 

हार का मतलब क्या है, या इंतज़ार का,

कब एक अंतहीन यात्रा मेरे भाग्य में नियत है?

जब मेरा दिल मुझे साथी के रूप में उपहार में दिया गया था,

एक अशांति साथ-साथ चल रही थी।

Kannada Translation 

ಒಡೆದ ದಿನವು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು,

ರಾತ್ರಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಚೂರುಪಾರು.

ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ

ನಾವು ಸಾಗಿಸಬಹುದಾದಂತೆ.

 

ಸಿಡಿಯುವ, ಹಾಡುವ ಮಳೆಯ ಹನಿಗಳು

ವಿಷ ಮತ್ತು ಅನೈತಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ.

ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನಗುತ್ತವೆ, ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ,

ಅಂತಹ ಮುಂಗಾರು ನನಗೆ ಮಂಜೂರಾಗಿದೆ.

 

ನಾನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಆಯಾಸಗೊಂಡಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ

ನಾನು ನಗುವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದೆ,

ನನ್ನೊಳಗೇ ಯಾರೋ ಮಾತಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದರಂತೆ.

ಈ ಆಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಮತ್ತೆ ವಿಫಲರಾಗುತ್ತೀರಿ.

 

ಸೋಲು ಎಂದರೆ ಏನು, ಅಥವಾ ಕಾಯುವುದು

ಅಂತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ಚಾರಣವು ನನಗೆ ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಿದ ಅದೃಷ್ಟ ಯಾವಾಗ?

ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಉಡುಗೊರೆಯಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿದಾಗ, ಒಡನಾಡಿಯಾಗಿ,

ಅಶಾಂತಿಯು ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು.
